Building process of the MAG guitars
Live all the steps in the making of the guitars MAG will be using
With luthiers Crête & XB (Guillaume Crête et Xavier Bouchard), the production of the new guitars MAG will be using has now begun. These guitars, a 6-srting and a 7-string, will be used to record the next MAG Project record.
All the steps of the building process will be presented to you here.

Step 1 :
- Glueing the body halves and tracing the shape.
- Wood used : Canadian flamed maple
Step 2 :

- Glueing and cutting the neck parts
Step 4 :

Step 5 :
- Glueing the headstock and fingerboard

Step 6 :
- Cutting the headstock et fret positioning
Step 7 :
- Installing the inlays, sanding the fingerboard

Step 8 :

Step 9 :
- Shaping the neck
- Cutting the tremolo cavities
- Cutting the neck cavity
- Installing the neck
 
Step 10 :
- Cutting the pickup cavities
- Finishing touches
 
Step 11 :
- Painting the 6-string guitar

Step 14 :
- Final adjustements
- Fret dressing, adjusting the truss-rod, height of the strings, etc.
FINISHED
- Both guitars are now completed and their quality is beyond excellent.
