The latest happenings...

Something for the holiday season! A new page has been added to the website. You'll find in the "infos" section, a page intitled "session work" which describes my main achievements while working with other bands and musicians. You'll be able to hear some songs and samples which you've never heard before.

The next album is progressing quite slowly but I hope to get things moving a little during the holidays. Don't despair, the album will see the light of day eventually.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everybody, I'll be back in 2010.

New on the website.... a document on stretching has been added to the Extras section

Lately, I recorded some tracks for the band Farsight, and also Manahil. I will let you know when these recordings are available. The recording of the guitars for the next MAG Project CD has begun. Things are progressing slowly but at least they are progressing.

Time is passing by way too quickly. I am teaching guitar in college now and it has completely changed my usual schedule.

Anyway, I toured part of Europe last month with Quo Vadis, here are the places we did :

The recording of the second album has officially begun. Yanic Bercier is currently recording the drum tracks. The result should be interesting.

My custom-made guitars are finished. Soon, the last steps will be posted online. Some official promo pictures of the guitars will be taken later.

It's been a long time but we're still here and things are moving. First of all, a bunch of steps have been added to the guitar building page.

The band will be playing soon. First, on october 5th, in Sherbrooke, opening for the band Unexpect, and next, on october 14, in Quebec with the bands Adamind and Worth Dying For. Don't miss it.

| July 20, 2008 | July 25 show cancelled

Due to the venue being closed unexpectedly, the first edition of the Inexistence Festival will take place next year.

A new step has been added to the guitar making page. The necks are now glued and cut.

| June 9, 2008 | New page and more collaborations

MAG will record some solos on the next Aesma Daeva album, titled 1984. So far, 2 solos have been recorded in demo version. You can listen to one of them on John Prassas' MySpace page.

New videos have been added to the Extras section of the site. David Alain and Dominic Mongrain-Ouellet, 2 high school kids, playing Nowhere In Sight During their school show. Thanks guys, and congratulations.

MAG recently finished recording some guitar tracks for german band Violence Unleashed. This collaboration will be featured on track #12 of their upcoming CD. The song is called "Crumbled into dust, part 2".

| March 20, 2008 | Giveaway winner

Congratulations to Darquis Bouchard-Petit who won the CD in the March 15th giveaway. If you want to participate in future giveaways, just subscribe to the mailing list to be automatically entered.

The site now has a streaming mp3 player. If you click on the "MP3 player" button on the top of each page of the site, you'll get a pop-up window containing the player. You can now listen to complete songs while surfing the net.

| March 8, 2008 | 2nd SKin Rock Contest

MAG will make more appearances at the 2nd Skin Rock Contest to present the guitar that will be given to the best guitar player of the competition. The scheduled dates so far are march 8 and 22, april 12, and may 10. The show will take place at the Imperial theater in Quebec City.

| February 25, 2008 | Giveaway and live performance

On march 15th, a giveaway will take place for all members of the mailing list. The winner will receive a MAG Project CD. If you want to be included in the draw and are not yet a member of the list, sign up now and you will be included automatically.

MAG will make an apparition at the 2nd Skin Rock Contest, this friday february 29th, to present the guitar that will be given to the best guitar player of the competition. The guitar is made by luthiers Crête & XB. The show will take place at the Imperial theater in Quebec City.

| February 12, 2008 | Live video added!

A live video is now online. Featuring the song Highway 80, the song has been recorded live on june 12, 2007, at the Foufounes Electriques nightclub in Montreal when MAG Project was opening for Doro. You'll find the video in the "Extras" section.

| January 14, 2008 | Pictures section added!

The pictures section has been added to the website. It contains a bunch of live photographs taken at different times during the last two years.
